Conte gives injury latest on Moses and Batshuayi as another Chelsea player picks up a knock

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has given the latest injury updates ahead of the Blues’ Champions League clash with Qarabag tomorrow night.

The Blues manager will be without Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda, who both missed the West Brom game through injury over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Conte also revealed that Kenedy has picked up an injury and he was not part of the squad that trained ahead of the game, while Victor Moses is still not back with the rest of the team.

There had been some concern over Belgian star Eden Hazard after the heavy knock that he took in the win over the Baggies on Saturday, but Conte allayed fears that he would be missing by declaring the 26-year-old ready for the game.

“Hazard is fit. Batshuayi and Moses are not available for the game. Kenedy also and Musonda,” Conte said.

“Kenedy had a little muscular problem. But I think he’s very close to be back with us.”
